01 / DESIGN INTENT & BRIEF

Transform a cavernous concrete shell into an introspective family sanctuary that balances urban monumentality with tactile domestic warmth.

A high-floor panoramic duplex in Gulshan-2 sculpted with imported Roman silver travertine partitions and custom acoustic smoked oak ceiling ribs.

Structural Challenge

Mitigating harsh tropical afternoon glare through expansive west-facing glass while maintaining open lake sightlines and superior acoustic hermeticity.

Executed Solution

Deep travertine reveals and motorized linen solar baffles soften raking daylight. Bespoke acoustic wall panels absorb reverberation across polished stone floors.
